On June 17, 2021, at 09:22 a.m. (Beijing Time), Chinese astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo took the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft and fired under the lift of the Long March 2 F carrier rocket, rushing into the clear sky with the momentum of never going forward. Subsequently, the Shenzhou XII manned spacecraft successfully entered its intended orbit and completed the launch of the solar wing, another feat in the history of Chinese manned space, marking another major step forward in the construction of the Chinese space station.
In this flight mission, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as the Bearing Research Institute ) undertakes the development and production tasks of ‘ power and heart ‘ booster of Changzheng No.2 F rocket, core primary rocket and core secondary rocket engine. After continuous technical research and full performance test, the heavy load high speed bearing developed by the Institute provides power support for the rocket engine and ensures the successful launch of the Changzheng No.2 F rocket.
As an important supplier of special bearings for manned spacecraft series, the Institute also undertakes the bearings for multiple rotating mechanisms of Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft, and successfully develops several high-precision and low-noise bearings for the motor, electronic control and other driving systems of manned spacecraft. It ensures the reliable and stable operation of multiple important rotating mechanisms of manned spacecraft during flight, and helps Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft go out smoothly.
The successful launch of Shenzhou-12 mission has laid a good start for the space station construction mission of manned spacecraft, and promoted the three-step development of manned spaceflight in China. The great cause started from dream, based on innovation, and became practical. As the only national comprehensive research unit of bearing industry in China, the key single machine and multiple bearing products developed by the company have successively built ‘ Tiangong ‘ laboratory, ‘ Shenzhou ‘ series manned spacecraft, ‘ Chang ‘ e ‘ lunar exploration project, space station and other ‘ Republic First ‘ projects. In the face of various tasks and challenges, we will not forget the original intention, remember the mission, and strive for success. We will continue to move forward in the journey of dreaming and flying, and create glory again!
